Chateau Jas de Bressy is owned by 2 sisters, Amelie and Gaelle Barrot, and the winemaking is supervised by Gaelle’s husband, Fred. These sisters are the descendants of a famous wine-making family with deep roots in Chateauneuf du Pape, Mousset-Barrot. The family is most famous for owning the winery, hotel, and restaurant Chateau des Fines Roches.
Jas de Bressy is the new name of a vineyard that was bought by the sisters in 2003, which is just below the large family domaine. There are 4.5 hectares for the red and 1 hectare for the white. This is a modern-style of Chateuneuf du Pape, very accessible at a young age-The Volnay of Chateauneuf du Pape!!!
