Domaine des Hautes Chassis is owned and run by the very lovable and funny Franck Faugier. After working for Mars Candy in Lyon, he came back to his family’s vineyards, and was the first generation to bottle his own wine in 2003. Previously all the grapes were sold to the cave-cooperative.
He makes Crozes-Hermitage red and white, along with some St-Joseph red. His oldest vines are between 60-70 years old. He has a new range of wines in Hermitage that is a joint venture with a friend under the Faugier-Gonnet label.
