Domaine les Hautes Cances is owned by two retired doctors, Anne-Marie and Jean-Marie Astart. They inherited about 15 hectares of vignes in 1992 from Anne-Marie’s family, and instead of selling the land, they decided to give wine-making a shot.
They are located in the center of Cairanne, one of the most famous villages of Cotes du Rhone-Villages. Their wines are very traditional, and quite concentrated. Jerry Garcia never died, he’s making wine!
