Chateau Margui was bought by Philippe and Micky Guillanton in 2000. Since 1970, the chateau and its surrounding vines were in despair, and though their passion, hard-work, and huge investment, they have brought the land back life. The Chateau is in the heart of the Coteaux Varois en Provence appellation, just north of the town, Brignoles.
The 15 hectares of vines produce about 60,000 bottles per year, quite a limited production and a true boutique winery. The winery follows biodynamic principles, and the vines are certified organic. The Grape varieties which are planted in the vineyards are Grenanche Noir, Cinsault, Rolle, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
