Julien Pilon is a young rising star in the Northern Rhone Valley. After working for well know wineries such as Yves Cuilleron, Mas Amiel, and Pierre Gaillard, he started to make his own wine with the 2010 vintage.
Originally Julien wanted to concentrate on making only white wines, but coming this fall there will be a Cote Rotie 2011. In 2010 he made only about 6000 bottles. He is in the process of renting vines, while he is slowly planting his own vines.
